The City of Lights, Varanasi welcomes all the delegates to the International Conference on Management and Recycling of Metallurgical Wastes.

The venue of the conference is Department of Metallurgical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) at the heart of Varanasi.Varanasi is well connected and accessible to major Indian cities and tourist spots. There are daily domestic flights to and from Varanasi to several cities in India likes New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad etc. Nearest railway stations are Varanasi Cantonment, Manduadih and Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay. The Institute is located in the south of the Varanasi city and about 7 km away from Varanasi Railway Station and 30 km from the Babatpur (Varanasi) airport. Taxis, Auto-rickshaws, are available as transport. Daily flights on Delhi-Agra-Khajuraho-Varanasi route are quite popular among the tourists.
