There has been very impressive growth of metal production in the world during past few decades. However, increase in its production also causing generation of large quantity of wastes such as slags, dross, dust, leach residues, liquid effluents etc. Similarly, soon after the 'end-of-life' of many scientific and industrial components containing potential metal values, also become scrap. Recovery of valuable metals from such solid and liquid wastes is one of the biggest challenges of today's world. In this context, an International conference on Management and Recycling of Metallurgical Wastes has been organized which focuses on recovery and recycling of all kinds of metallurgical wastes generated during primary metal production, fabrication of metals and alloys and from waste components including e-waste. This international conference shall serve as the platform for academicians, industrialists and researchers alike to present their work and exchange new developments in the area of recycling and management of various kinds of wastes generated from metallurgical and related industries as well as from 'end-of-life' components.
