About Varanasi

Varanasi, the holy city of India, is also known by the name of Kashi and Banaras. Kashi, the city of eternal peace for Hindus for centuries, is known for its fine quality silks, mouth freshener, and Banaras Hindu University. One of the seven holiest cities, Varanasi is the oldest living city of the world. Varanasi is more than 3000 years old and is famous as the city of temples. Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi ji on 12th December 2021. Sarnath is 10km away from Varanasi. The museum, excavation and the Buddhist temples bear the testimony of amalgamation of Indian culture with the neighbouring countries.
