  2. By Rail: Since Varanasi lies in the heartland of the North Indian plains, it is connected to major cities of India via rail. There are three railway stations in Varanasi: Varanasi Junction, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction and Manduadih Railway Station.

    Manduadih Railway Station to BHU:
    BHU Campus is about 3 Kms from Manduadih Railway Station. This station connects mainly Varanasi within Uttar Pradesh/New Delhi and there is one weekly train from Rameswaram to Varanasi. Auto/Taxi services are available from Manduadih station to BHU (Lanka).
