About METCENT

The Department of Metallurgical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) provides quality education and excels in research in several disciplines such as physical, mechanical and extractive metallurgy. The International conference on Metallurgical Engineering and Centenary Celebration (METCENT 2023) is organized by the Department of Metallurgical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) at IIT(BHU) Varanasi, India from October 26th- 28th , 2023. METCENT 2023 is providing a unique opportunity to all the metallurgists and materials scientists, academicians and industry experts to come to the city of knowledge and share their experience on this special occasion. It also gives an excellent platform to all the alumni of the Department of Metallurgical engineering to refresh their memories after decades and rejoice the golden days.

The Department is also willing to establish Centenary Chair Prof. ship to attract world class researchers to visit the IIT (BHU), to conduct collaborative research and initiate advanced R&D at the Institute. Therefore, we invite all the alumni of the Institute, to generously sponsor this mega event.
