Overview

It is with great pride and anticipation that the Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering & Technology, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi, announces to organization 46th Annual Conference of the Indian Association of Biomedical Scientists (IABMS), along with a National Conference, to be held from 7ᵗʰ to 9ᵗʰ October 2025 at IIT (BHU), Varanasi. The pre-conference workshop will be held on 6ᵗʰ October, 2025, on AI-based drug discovery. The central theme of this year's conference, "Recent Advances in Drug Discovery and Development (RADDD-2025)", reflects the vibrant and evolving landscape of pharmaceutical and biomedical innovation. This prestigious conference aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and showcase breakthrough scientific contributions that are shaping the future of therapeutic research and development. Abstract Submission

Submission of abstracts is now invited for presentation at "Recent Advancement in Drug Discovery and Development-2025" (RADDD-2025). All participants are encouraged to submit the abstract for consideration as per the below given template. Kindly submit the soft copy of the abstract with the registration form.

Also, please send the word document of the abstract to raddd25.phe@itbhu.ac.in with the subject as "Abstract for Oral presentation / Poster presentation".

All papers will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Authors of accepted papers will have to prepare a poster of size 3 feet x 4 feet (width x height).

An abstract must be submitted by one of its authors. Presenters must be one of the authors of the abstract. Only complete abstract forms will be considered. Submissions after the closing date will not be considered.

Conference Venue

The conference will be held at the Annie Besant Lecture Theatre (ABLT), Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, an Institute of National Importance established through the Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2012. Previously known as ITBHU, it was founded in 1919 as the Banaras Engineering College and became the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University in 1968. Today, IIT (BHU) Varanasi comprises 16 departments and 3 interdisciplinary schools and is well equipped with state-of-the-art engineering and scientific facilities to support advanced research. The city of Varanasi is well connected by road, rail, and air to all major destinations across India, with regular flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Khajuraho, and Lucknow. The IIT (BHU) campus is located approximately 10 km from Varanasi Railway Station, 20 km from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Railway Station (Mughalsarai), and 35 km from Varanasi Airport. As one of the oldest living cities and a major religious and cultural hub, Varanasi offers a unique and inspiring backdrop for this scientific gathering.
