International Conference on Nonlinear
Applied Analysis and Optimization
The International Conference on Nonlinear
Applied Analysis & Optimization and National
Mathematics Day is scheduled at the Deptartment of
Mathematical Sciences, IIT (Banaras Hindu
University), Varanasi during December 19-22,
2022 under the aegis of Indian Institute of
Technology (BHU). This course is aimed at
providing an opportunity to young researchers
to attend talks of International level experts,
interact with them during short discussion and
present their contributions if accepted.
The objective of the conference is to
motivate and equip the participants with the
recent state-of-art of nonlinear analysis,
fixed point theory, dynamical systems,
optimization, fractals, differential/integral
equations and various applications to signal
& image processing, soft computing as well
as to expose the young talents with the
newer dimensions in these areas with their
practical approaches to tackle the real life
problems in engineering, medical and social
sciences & the Ramanujan’s Conjectures so
that the participants can take up various
challenges in future.
About the Department
The Department of Mathematical Sciences, IIT (BHU),
Varanasi, earlier known as Applied Mathematics has
been functioning since 1968, caters to the needs of the
UG and PG students of the Institute and the five-year
integrated M. Tech course in Mathematics and
Computing of the department. The Department has an
encouraging record in research work and guidance with
more than 300 Ph Ds produced and 100 scholars
working and over 2000 research publications in the
journals of national and international repute.
Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi is an autonomous public technical institute located inside the campus of Banaras Hindu University, India. Founded in 1919, the Banaras Engineering College (BENCO), as a Pioneering Engineering education in India by the great visionary Bharat Ratna Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya, later the College of Mining and Metallurgy (MINMET) and the College of Technology (TECHNO) were added in 1923. In 1968, BENCO, TECHNO and MINMET were merged into one unit and Institute of Technology (IT-BHU) was established integrating Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil and Municipal Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Technology, Silicate Technology (Ceramic Engineering) and Pharmaceutics departments and a separate Department of Electronics Engineering was also established. In 2012 it was converted into Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) to impart world class Engineering education. It has 17 departments and 3 inter-disciplinary schools.
